Instructions

The surface should be free of oil, grease and other contaminants. Degrease with Wu00fcrth brake cleaner. Excessive adhesive that is pressed out of the gap between the two parts will not harden and can be removed with a dry cloth or a cloth saturated with acetone cleaner.

Anaerobic adhesives are solvent-free reaction adhesives. They harden when not exposed to atmospheric oxygen (anaerobic) and when subjected to the catalytic effect of metal. This means that at least one of the parts to be connected has to be of metal and that the surface of the parts to be connected has to be large enough to exclude oxygen. For this reason, the containers are also only filled to approx. 3/4 full.

The more "passive" the material and the thicker the gap, the slower the material hardens

• Passive materials: nickel, zinc, tin, precious metals, aluminium with minimal copper and/or manganese content, high-alloy steel, oxide or chromate coats, plastic, glass and ceramic.
• Active materials: Steel, brass, bronze, copper, aluminium (copper content greater than 1%).
