Application area

Colourless 1C primer for repairing damage to diffusers in vehicle headlights.

Instructions

Step 1: Pretreatment of headlights

• Cleaning
• Dry sanding
• Wet sanding
• Check (if necessary, rework)

Step 2: Application of primer

• Mask off the rear of the headlights
• Clean sanded parts
• Clean the headlights with a dust binder cloth and Aqua silicone remover
• Shake the can thoroughly for 2 minutes and perform a spray test
• Apply PC primer in 1.5 spray passes and allow to flash off for 40 minutes at 20°C

Step 3: Application of clear varnish

• For protective effect, paint over headlight with Rapid 2C clear varnish (art. 5867 000 124)
