For structural temperature and water-resistant adhesive joints in wooden window construction (gluing flush joints) and in the wooden house door sector, e.g. for gluing board joints of house door cassettes. In aluminium window and door construction (anodised and powder-coated) for bonding aluminium corner connectors into hollow profile chambers. For a broad range of wood and construction materials, as well as ceramic, rubber, metal, hard PVC, hard foam made from phenol resin and polyurethane, polystyrene.
Instructions
The surfaces of the substrates to be glued must be dry and free of dust and grease. Remove any release agent that may be present. Depending on the nature of the material and the surface, the gluing areas are pretreated, partially ground, cleaned or removed, therefore a primer is recommended for the gluing area.
PUR Rapid structural adhesive is applied either on one of the assembly components as a bead or over the whole surface using a toothed spatula. The adhesive is moisture-curing, i.e. when gluing non-absorbent materials or very dry materials to each other the applied adhesive has to be additionally sprinkled with water to achieve complete hardening.
The assembly components are joined together while the skin is being formed (maximum 5 minutes after moistening), and if necessary are pressed together until the functional strength is reached. The amount applied should be around 200 g/m², depending on the material.

Suitable glove:

Neoprene chemical protective glove
Permeation level: 1
Heavy-duty design
Permeation is the process by which a chemical moves through the material of a protective glove on a molecular level. The time from the initial contact between the chemical and the glove to the permeation of the material is the breakthrough time.
