For disinfecting stalls, equipment, commercial vehicles. For disinfecting milking clusters and accessories in the dairy industry.

Effective against the following viruses (nonu2011exhaustive list):
Aujeszky virus, encephalomyocarditis virus, porcine parvovirus, reovirus, African swine fever virus, teschovirus, swine vesicular disease virus, ECBO virus (orphan virus), foot-and-mouth disease virus, smallpox virus, avian flu virus, poultry virus, Celo virus, Newcastle disease virus, infectious bursal virus, infectious bronchitis and bursal disease, pseudo avian flu virus, Erwinia.
Instructions1 kg yields 33.3 litres of disinfectant solution (3%).
Apply as a spray using atomizer or with (thermal) sprayers.
Building and surface disinfection
If buildings are empty between individual production cycles, first thoroughly clean them and then use atomised, sprayed or vaporised Halamid solution to disinfect. For spraying, use 0.4 l/mu00b2 of a 3% strength Halamid solution.
Atomising and vaporising
In stalls with an existing water atomisation system, building disinfection using vaporised Halamid solution has proven very efficient, as well as practical and economical. For spraying use 40u201350 ml/mu00b3 of a 2u20133% Halamid solution. For use by state-certified pest controllers. Although a higher concentration is needed when using this system, it nevertheless is an economically attractive solution, since only a small total amount of Halamid is required for effective disinfection.
Vehicle disinfection
All vehicles (including tyres) must be thoroughly disinfected with a 1% Halamid solution before entering the farm. Halamid is particularly suitable for this application area because as a solution it is not harmful to materials and it is also highly effective at low temperatures.
Drinking water system disinfection
When the stalls are empty, flush the water system for 30 minutes using a 0.5% Halamid solution, then rinse with clean water.
Intermediate milking cluster disinfection
First clean tools and equipment and then leave in a 0.3u20130.5% strength Halamid solution to soak for at least 5 minutes. Then rinse with clean water. Studies have shown that, compared to other active chlorine disinfectants, Halamid offers advantages as the germicidal action in existing organic substances remains effective for longer. In addition, compared to hypochlorite and triisocyanurate (due to the reaction with milk residues), Halamid forms significantly fewer toxic chlorine-containing organic compounds.
