Note

It is essential that Würth active cleaner and Würth Varioprimer are used for surface preparation. The shelf life of the products must be checked before use. Apply adhesive while holding the gun vertically, starting in the middle of the bottom edge of the window. Do not place the vehicle on the lift. Please note the vehicle manufacturer's specifications regarding bead geometry. The application and drive-away times must be observed.

Notice

Do not park the vehicle on a lifting platform. Observe the information regarding bead geometry provided by the vehicle manufacturer. The application and drive-away times must be observed. The curing time and ventilation time depend on the ambient temperature and humidity.

The window adhesive must be protected from UV radiation by the Varioprimer and the Varioprimer must be protected from UV radiation by the ceramic screen-printing edge or otherwise.

Application area

Replacement glazing for common vehicles, commercial vehicles, vans and agricultural and construction machinery.

Instructions

Ensure that the material is applied in a clean working environment. Use the corresponding system components to apply the adhesive. Surface treatment is mandatory. Clean the bonding surfaces (window and body) and leave to air dry for 5 minutes. Apply a thin layer of Varioprimer to the bonding surface of the window and leave to air dry for 10 minutes. Apply the adhesive with the gun perpendicular to the frame, starting from the centre of the bottom edge of the window.

If the paint on the surface to be bonded is damaged or freshly painted, Varioprimer must be applied and left to air dry for 10 minutes. The paint must be allowed to harden completely before the Varioprimer is applied. If the time between trimming the adhesive bead and applying the window adhesive is longer than 8 hours, we recommend activating the trimmed adhesive bead with Varioprimer.
